PlacerGROWN Food and Farm Conference
The 14th annual PlacerGROWN Conference will take place 8 a.m .- 3 p.m., Feb. 7 at Lincoln High School, 790 J St. in Lincoln.
The conference will focus on topics including a wide range of ag marketing issues, developing an agricultural intern progam, and business planning.
The conference's keynote speaker this year is Michael Dimock from Roots of Change. Roots of Change is a collaborative of diverse leaders and institutions unified in common pursuit of sustainable food system in California by 2030.
A workshop titled "Understanding and Managing Your Marketing Costs" will be taught by Shermain Hardesty, Small Farm Program director.
